Arsenal defender Cedric Soares is reportedly out for 2 weeks with an injury. The injury will certainly keep him out of action till the international break.

However, the injury is not reportedly serious. Hence, it is good news for Mikel Arteta as he would want a full squad available in the coming months.

CEDRIC SOARES STRUGGLING WITH INJURIES IN RECENT MONTHS

According to reports, Arsenal defender Cedric Soares is reportedly going to be out for 2 weeks with an injury. The knock was described as minor prior to the game. However, continuous injuries are becoming a concern for Cedric. Cedric has struggled to get game time in his Gunners career due to minor injuries. These minor slowly develop into major injuries.

These major injuries then keep him out for months. Hence, the full-back is unable to contribute to the game. The defender was all set to start against FC Zurich in the Europa League. However, the minor prevented his first start for Arsenal this season. Hence, Gabriel Magalhaes had to start the game for which he should have rested.

ARSENAL ARE CURRENTLY STRUGGLING WITH A NUMBER OF INJURIES

The report also claims that Cedric should be available in two weeks. This will pretty much make him unavailable till the international break. However, the postponement of the league due to the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II means he will miss very less matches. So ideally, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will want all his players to be available after the international break.

The problem is William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Ben White are pretty much starting all the games. Hence, it would be good if the three defenders would get some break. The Gunners are also struggling with injuries in the attacking and midfield departments. In midfield, the Gunners are currently without the services of Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny. Whereas, in attacking they are without the services of Emile Smith Rowe.

Hence, Arsenal will be happy with the international break. The international break will also help Cedric Soares. For now, Cedric Soares needs to rest and recover. The defender is in plans of Mikel Arteta. Hence, he should be available when called upon.
