Arsenal defender William Saliba has provided a positive update on his contract situation. The defender is one of the best players for the club this season.

According to reports, Arsenal have opened talks with William Saliba for a contract extension. The defender signed a five-year contract when he signed for the club. William Saliba has made it clear that he is happy at the club. The defender has also said that the talks for new contracts have started. However, the defender is in no rush to sign a new contract. He said,
” Yeah, we will see. They talk a little bit. We will see.” He also said,” He (Arteta) talked about my last season and he explained the project for this season. The more we win, the more we are confident. We want every week to win, to win, to win – and that’s it.
The defender also said that he enjoyed playing every season of his first derby. His Arsenal teammates were also happy with his performances. The Gunners goalkeeper Ramsdale has said that Saliba has helped make the defense line more secure.
