Sterling may move to Arsenal next season

Arsenal are eager to sign Chelsea attacker, Raheem Sterling in the summer as Mikel Arteta wants a reunion at Emirates.

As per 90min, Arsenal are interested in the English Winger and might land him in the next transfer window. Arteta’s side are looking to bolster their attack ahead of the Champions League return, next season. But Sterling joined Chelsea last year and might not leave this early.

Chelsea bought Sterling for £50m from Manchester City, last season under the new ownership of Todd Boehly. However, the forward failed to make an impression at Stanford Bridge this season which can lead to early departure. The inclusion of João Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, and David Datro Fofana in Blue’s line-up will lead to a lack of game time for other attackers in the team.

This makes a perfect opportunity for Arsenal to lure away Sterling as Arteta will like to add more fire-power to his line-up. Plus, they will return to the Champions League and will need more depth in his squad. On other hand, Chelsea are currently struggling under new boss Graham Potter, as they lost the weekend clash against Tottenham.

Sterling can be a great addition to Arteta’s squad, as the attacker has scored 131 goals across all the competition for Man City. Although, their is a drip in his current form. He scored only 6 goals for Chelsea, this season.

Arsenal’s attacking options are already looking healthy and they also have Leandro Trossard in the winter transfer window. Adding Sterling in the mix will be a great decision and the winger is potentially open to reuniting with Arteta.
