Journalist Graeme Bailey claims that Arsenal want to sign Brazilian winger Malcom in the summer transfer window.

Malcom resurrected his career at Zenit St Petersburg and has now been linked with some top clubs in Europe. The winger has scored twenty four goals and provided seven assists this season.

Arsenal will bring reinforcement in the summer as they’ll participate in Champions League next season. The Gunners also returns to European football after seven years.

However, Arsenal have linked with “forgotten” Brazilian winger Malcom, who appears to have potentially turned his career around. His club is now leading the Russian Premier League Table.

Malcom was labelled as “flop” at Barcelona due to poor performance. But now, he has ressurected his career in Russia.

While speaking to 90min’s Talking Transfer, Bailey is impressed with Malcom’s current form and the Journalist believes he will be back to European Football soon. He further stated:-

“He’s had a sensational season for Zenit. He had 30 goal contributions in total.

“And he’s got a lot, he’s got some very big clubs who have been very impressed by his progress PSG, but also Arsenal, Man City and Newcastle – we are being told, have also taken note.

“It’s a difficult situation. Teams are going to have to buy him, he is co-owned by some Brazilian businessman as well, but keep an eye on this one.

“Malcom is very much a wanted man. And I think it’d be heading back to mainstream European football.”

Malcom is only 26-years-old and has a huge future ahead. Therefore, Arsenal won’t be the only big European keeping track of his progress this summer.
