Arsenal were hoping to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk as a priority winger in the January transfer window. However, they failed to agree a fee with Shakhtar Donetsk. In the end, Mudryk joined Chelsea. Hence, Edu Gaspar and Mikel Arteta have decided to bring Plan B into action. The plan was to sign a player like Leandro Trossard. He is a great player that can play across all three positions in the forward line. Hence, it looks like the Gunners have got the perfect utility player for the rest of the season.

BRIGHTON HAVE AGAIN MANAGED TO EARN A GOOD PROFIT FROM A DIFFICULT SALE

Brighton coach Roberto De Zerbi made it clear that Trossard needed to improve his attitude in training to come back into the team. However, the agent of the Belgian made it clear that his client was disrespected on the training ground. Hence, he made it clear to Brighton to accept the best bid for Trossard. Therefore, Tottenham made a 12 million bid for him. However, the bid got immediately rejected as it was below the valuation. Hence, it looks like the perfect decision.

This is because in the end, they have managed to get 27 million from Arsenal. They signed Trossard for only 15 million. Hence, the Seagulls have again managed to make a profit on the sale of a player. Therefore, it is clear Brighton know the trade of making the maximum profit on their every sale. Hence the sale of Trossard to Arsenal is not different. The Seagulls tried to convince Trossard to make amends with the manager. However, the Gunners move is too good for anyone to reject.

Whereas, the Gunners will also hope to sign a midfielder before the January window ends. Hence, the Trossard deal looks good for all the parties.
