Arsenal have made their first approach to sign Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey this summer, as they’re considering to increase their offer.

Galatasaray are firm on their asking price of right-back Sacha Boey, after holding talks with Arsenal. The Turkish Giants are not ready to negotiate the price-tag this summer.

According to Turkish Outlet Sporx, Galatasaray vice-president Erden Timur has visited London to discuss about Boey to Arsenal. Gunners have offered around £17 million, but it was rejected

The Turkish outfit wants around £25 million(£22 million) for Boey. However, Arsenal have already informed Galatasaray that they’ll come up with a new offer.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Galatasaray officials are on their way to UK on Tuesday. But the Italian also claims that the Turkish Giants also holds talks with two mystery clubs for Boey.

Meanwhile, Aksam stated last week that Arsenal had made contact with Galatasaray for Boey and it looks like the move is inevitable. The 22-year-old fits the bills for the Gunners as he has shown himself to be strong 1v1 duels too.

For Boey, it will be a big step to play in the Premier League, but the full-back has shown both talent and potential to become a quality player for Arsenal. Gunners will return to Champions League next season and Arteta will bring reinforcement to maintain their good form.

Arsenal are now just inch behind from closing the agreement with Galatasaray for Boey but the defender will gather interest from big European clubs in the summer.
