Multiple news outlets have claimed about Arsenal‘s interest to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka. Though the German side will not resist selling the player as his contract expires in 2023. Some other European clubs are also interested in the player, Arsenal and AS Roma are said to be among them. Reports claim that the 23-year-old player is on Roma’s chief Tiago Pinto, wish list. The young player have informed that he has no desire to resign from Eintracht Frankfurt. It is said that he is ready to leave the club as a free agent in the summer unless an immoral offer comes in January. It is claimed that Arsenal’s interest in the player could be bad news for Roma.

Arsenal ‘has already reached an agreement’ with the player

The clubs are allowed to sign pre-contract agreements this winter with players whose contract expires in 2023. Italian news revealed that Roma will not be able to sign the player this summer as Arsenal have already pounced on the player. They also claimed that Arsenal ‘have already reached an agreement‘ with the player. Arsenal had loaned out Pablo Mari last summer leaving just Gabriel Magalhaes as the only left-footed center back. This season Rob Holding have played in the Europa League and Carabao Cup on the left side of the pitch, yet it seems that the Arsenal manager wants more quality in the defense of the team. Ndicka is a regulars starter for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, and have appeared in all Champions League matches for them. The player have helped to keep 23 clean sheets for the team this season.

Despite of the player’s amazing performance so far in his career, Ndicka is yet to receive a senior call-up for the French national team. Though no official announcement has been made, so the celebrations of the new signing have to wait.
