Arsenal are looking more and more likely to return to Champions League football at the end of the season. The club are currently the favorite to take home the 4th place in the Premier League table at the end of the season.

Manchester United have continued on their theme to drop points at important stages of the season. The red devils recently drew 1-1 to Leicester City at home in the Premier League. While Tottenham Hotspurs did pick up a 5-1 win over Newcastle United in the league. But Arsenal still looks clear favorites for the Champions League spot.

Aaron Ramsdale injury update

Aaron Ramsdale has undoubtedly been one of the signings of the season. Initially, the signing was seen as a waste of money. But Ramsdale has made people eat up their words with his performances on the pitch. But the goalkeeper picked up a muscle injury in training recently. Bernd Leno replaced Ramsldale in goal in the 1-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League. But Ramsdale was spotted back in full training on Monday. Talking about Ramsdale’s injury ahead of the Crystal Palace game, Mikel Arteta said:

“Aaron is a doubt,”

“He’s still feeling not great. He hasn’t trained yet so we don’t know what he will be able to do on Monday.”

The goalkeeper also starts the game against Crystal Palace. His return is no doubt going to be a massive turn up for the side and help the side potentially return to the Champions League.

Are arsenal targeting James Maddison?

According to reports, Arsenal are targeting Leicester City star James Maddison in the summer transfer window. Reports suggest that Leicester City are under pressure to sell their star man in the summer. Arsenal were linked with the English attacking midfielder through the summer but the club signed Martin Ødegaard instead. But it seems Arsenal are reigniting their interest in the midfielder for the summer. Leicester City look set to miss out on European football this term and the club may have to sell a few of their star player due to this.

Is William Saliba set for a bright future with Arsenal?

William Saliba is set to be handed a chance at Arsenal next summer by manager Mikel Arteta. Saliba has really impressed while on loan with French side Marseille this season. He has also impressed during his appearances with the French national team. The French centre-half will be competing with Ben White and Gabriel for a place in the starting lineup.
