Arsenal are offered the chance to sign PSV midfielder Xavi Simmons in the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are taking interest to sign the 20-year-old. Arsenal will bring in some new faces as some old faces will leave Emirates in the summer.
Swiss International Granit Xhaka will leave the club this summer, and move back to Germany. Other two players who have been linked with potential exit are Emile Smith-Rowe and Fabio Vieira
Mikel Arteta will have to make some tough decisions for next season. Arsenal will go through some serious shuffle in the summer.
However, Gunners are now planning to sign Xavi Simmons in the summer. The Dutch International had a terrific season with PSV Eindhoven and looks to be ready to shift gears and play in top leagues.
As per reports, Simmons recently changed his agents and they’re looking for a new challenge for their client. His new agency has extensive links with Arsenal which makes the transfer much easier.
Xavi Simmons is one of the most exciting talents in Europe right now. He is quite versatile as he can be deploy as both central midfielder or as a winger.
Simmons has been in sensational form for PSV Eindhoven, scoring 16 goals and providing nine assists in this season. His figures will attract lot of interest from other big clubs in Europe.
Dutch legend Rafael van der Vaart has been quiet impressed with Simmons and believing him to already be ‘world class’. He said:-
