Arsenal revived their top-four hopes with a brilliant win over ten-man Leeds.

Eddie Nketiah again stepped up his play and was at his very best when his brace sealed the deal for the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s side came into this match at the back of a three-game unbeaten run. This win was an essential one for the Londoners, as they saw themselves cementing their fourth position. Tottenham Hotspurs’ draw against Liverpool last night was an added boost for the Gunners.

Arsenal got on the score sheet early when Nketiah scored just under five minutes into the game. The second goal came just five minutes later when a Gabriel Martinelli cutback was met by Nketiah.

Leeds was then limited to only ten men. A horrific tackle from Luke Ayling saw him get a yellow which was overturned by the VAR.

Leeds got back into the game right after the first half. Diego Llorente buried home the ball from a corner. However, throughout the match Arsenal dominated the game.

Bukayo Saka 7/10

Linked up with Odegaard really well which was a treat to watch. Dominated in the Right Wing position, giving a hard time to the defenders.

Worked very well on the ball. Chased every ball in the first half, and tried to recover the balls. His brace secured the win for the Gunners.

Gabriel Martinelli 7/10

Again a splendid display from the winger. His threat was perceived because of the number of times he got picked out by his opponents. His touches were precise and a joy to watch for the fans.
