Arsenal wants the Real Madrid winger Asensio to bolster their attack. Several outlets have reported that Arsenal is pursuing the signature of the real Madrid forward. Corriere Dello Sport has reported that he could be leaving Los Blancos for just £30million.
Manchester United, Juventus, and AC Milan are also vying for Asensio’s presence at their clubs. The Spanish forward is out of contract in 2023. But Madrid has taken no action to renew the contract. Asensio has had a much better campaign for Madrid this season. This season, he has been in battle with Rodrygo for a spot on the first team.

Asensio has seen plenty of action this season. He played a key role in Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League Victory. He has scored 10 goals in La Liga this season for Madrid. Arsenal are on the move to bolster their attack. They are also looking to strengthen their midfield.
Asensio is a suitable candidate for Gunners. Asensio can play at midfield, as a number 10, and even on the flanks. “One of the best Counter Attacking players in the world”. Real Madrid commentator and journalist Phil Kitromilides has heaped praises on the Spanish forward. Talking to Bleacher Report, Kitromilides said :
“Asensio is vertical. He’s dynamic. Not only is he quick, but he’s very good at dribbling very quickly with the ball as well. He seems to have an understanding of when to give a pass on the counter-attack. He’s one of the best counter-attacking players in the world.”
Arsenal has had dealings with Real before. The past season, they have signed Martin Odegaard on a loan from Madrid. He was signed on a permanent 4 year deal with the Gunners in January 2022.
