Bukayo Saka has said that his ‘dream’ is to play in the Champions League and is fighting for that with Arsenal. The 20-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s most important youngsters having contributed to many of their goals this season. However, some reports have surfaced over problems in extending his contract resulting in speculations of a move away from the club.

He was linked with a move to Liverpool in December but that did not take place as Liverpool had other plans. Saka has never played in the Champions League as Arsenal have not been in the competition for the past 5-6 years. However, he has a good record in Europa League having scored 4 goals and assisted 9 in 17 appearances.

Saka has 10 goals contribution for Arsenal in 22 games this season in the Premier League. He has made his name fixed on the team sheet for Arteta. This is a very good position to be in for a 20-year-old youngster. Saka has also featured for England at such an early stage and is also highly regarded over the world. He rarely has a quiet game and never failed to entertain the audience.

Saka’s next aim should rightly be playing in the Champions League. However, Arsenal as a unit will have to work hard to achieve that. Although he has an easy route of joining another club, he won’t get regular game time and importance as he gets at Arsenal. If Arsenal’s push is successful this season then he will be able to live his dream with Arsenal.

Why Bukayo Saka should stay at Arsenal and complete his dream?

Bukayo Saka is just 20 years old and has already become one of the key players at Arsenal. He would be a huge loss for the Gunners if he leaves the club in near future. He has developed well under Arteta and has still a lot to learn and develop in his career. Since Arteta knows the player inside out, he can help him improve even further.

He takes Arsenal’s game to the next level with his ability to get past defenders and run behind them. His good control of the ball and dribbling skills make him one of the most dangerous players on the pitch. All of this partnered with excellent pace and brilliant finishing skills. He only has to work on his aerial duels and physique which will be done with time.

If he joins a bigger club then he won’t get the regular game time that he gets at Arsenal. He would be a rotation player whereas he is a first-team player at Arsenal. At this stage of development, regular game time is a bonus that many players suffer to get. Saka is one of the very naturally talented players who just pulls off the skills. Moreover, it would be even more magical to play with Arsenal in the Champions League and be a part of a new story.

Arsenal are in a good position to finish in the top four this season. However, they must not lose their focus and should keep scrapping the wins. Manchester United‘s form is helping Arsenal more and more but the Gunners should not punish themselves. They have to be wary of Tottenham Hotspur in that case. If they do this then Saka has good chances of staying at Arsenal.
