Arsenal will be looking to bolster their squad with the addition of a striker in the upcoming summer transfer window. Gabriel jesus form has not been convincing this season. Arsenal ahead in the race to sign Benjamin Sesko
Arsenal’s target Benjamin Sesko currently plays for the German club RB Leipzig. Benjamin Sesko joined the club from their red bull partners Salzburg last season. He has been in a breathtaking form since the second half of the last season. He scored 14 goals and provided 2 assists for RB Leipzig across all competitions. Sesko has gained interest from many big European clubs. Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be ahead in the race to sign Benjamin Sesko where The Emirates based club is said to be the front runners in the race to sign Benjamin Sesko.
Benjamin Sesko contract with RB Leipzig will run until 2028. He featured in 31 games for the German club. Arsenal is heavily linked with Benjamin Sesko but a deal is far from being completed. The Red’s are eager to tie him in a deal to land him on the Emirates. It is believed that Benjamin Sesko have a 55 million release clause in his contract that will expire on june 30.
Benjamin Sesko will play in EURO 2024 for slovenia and he is expected to make his decision before the commencement of the EURO. It up to Benjamin Sesko whether he wants to stay in Germany or leave for stint in another country. If reports were to be believed Arsenal are said to be heavily linked with Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who is expected to leave the Serie A side Napoli in this summer transfer window. It has been suggested that Arsenal will offer 72 million for the services of Victor Osimhen. Napoli President wants to sell Victor Osimhen to PSG. As a result he has flown to france for meeting with Paris Saint Germain president to convince him to pay up 120 million for the transfer of Victor Osimhen. Napoli have identified Romelu Lukaku as the replacement of Victor Osimhen.
However Napoli have demanded Arsenal to activate Victor Osimhen 130 million release clause. If Arsenal wants Victor Osimhen to lann in the Emirate they need to work fast and pay big to Napoli as they will not let him go for cheap.
