Arsenal to look for an alternative for Joao Felix in this transfer window

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking at a different La Liga player after Joao Felix doubts emerged. Arsenal are now doubtful about the validity of signing Joao Felix. The Gunners are in the market looking for a center forward, after Gabriel Jesus knee injury. The Gunners will be missing Gabriel Jesus for at least three months. He suffered a knee injury at the World Cup and had to undergo surgery. Therefore his absence would leave a huge hole in Arsenal’s attack. Eddie Nketiah is the only senior team striker available. Arsenal would now be looking to sign another striker to fill up the striker position. Joao Felix was linked with Arsenal after the news of him wanting to leave Atletico Madrid came out.

The Portuguese star is most likely to leave Atletico Madrid after he had a fallout with the club and the manager. Premier League looks like his destination after La Liga. His representative have held talks with Arsenal, Aton Villa, Manchester United, and Chelsea. All those clubs could end up signing the player. However, Arsenal are now unsure about whether to push for the signing or not. Felix’s record have not been prolific at Atletico Madrid as compared to the price they paid for him. Although Atletico could consider a loan deal for Felix. But with the price tag of around £75m for the player have put Arsenal in a dilemma. Instead of going head-on for the Portuguese, they have now turned their eyes to an alternative. They are now looking at a mysterious striker based in La Liga.

Spanish journalists have claimed the news, and they have also confirmed the Gunners’ interest in the Portuguese. It is however still a mystery as to who this striker is. Arsenal are going to be active this transfer window as Arteta looks to bolster his squad. The manager hopes for things to be successful.
