According to several reports, Arsenal have resumed their interest in Club Brugge winger Noa Lang. While the player has also expressed his views and wants to leave the Belgian side next summer.

With the Gunners favourite to sign the player, his performances have attracted a lot of attention across Europe. Several clubs including AC Milan and West Ham United, are also linked with the player.

Noa Lang’s addition could boost Arsenal’s attacking prospects

The 22-year-old winger has been a great signing for Brugge and has made a permanent spot in the starrting-11. After a splendid loan spell, the Dutchman is now thriving with the Belgian champions this season, with 4 goals and 6 assists in 19 appearances. (stats via TRANSFERMARKT)

Noa’s reason for success is his speed and dribbling. The player often dribbles and cuts inside and release the ball in the right positions. He has a great vision and plays short but deadly passes to create big chances for his teammates. Moreover, the left winger, Lang also has the versatility to play as a right winger and no.9.

Mikel Arteta’s side are supposedly willing to let Nicolas Pepe leave for as little as £25m in 2022. Since, Lang’s contract with Brugge expires in 2025, Arsenal will have to spend big to get the player.

Arsenal looking to challenge the top teams in the Premier League

Arsenal had a rough start to this season, ending up in the relegation zone within just a few games. However, Mikel Arteta seems to have found the right methods now as the team is now unbeaten in eight games and sits 5th in the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, Arteta recently received praises for the signing of Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White. Expected to be a back-up for Bernd Leno, Ramsdale has deservedly sealed his spot in the team’s starting-11. On the other hand, White has now found himself settled quite well in the Gunners squad. The player had a shaky debut with Arsenal but he is now proving to be a solid man in the backline.

While the manager is looking out for potential wingers for his team, like Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Berardi, it is believed that Noa Lang has the experience and age to take over the winger role at Arsenal.
