Arsenal will reportedly include five academy players for their Dubai camp. These five players are highly rated by Mikel Arteta.

Hence, they will travel to Dubai with the first team. The youngsters will also have the chance for some game time under Mikel Arteta.

THE DUBAI CAMP FOR ARSENAL IS GOING TO BE VERY IMPORTANT

Arsenal have confirmed that they will travel to Dubai for the winter break. The winter break happened because FIFA World Cup is going to happen in November this year. Hence, there will be no Premier League games till the second week of December. Therefore, the Gunners will travel to Dubai to participate in a competition that includes the top European sides.

The tournament will also have teams like AC Milan, Lyon, and Liverpool. It will be called as the Dubai Super Cup. The rules are also bizarre in the tournament. A penalty shootout will happen after the end of every game irrespective of the result. Hence, it looks like all the sides will get to test their squad. Arsenal are set to miss a number of players due to World Cup. Hence, Arteta is all set to include some youngsters to the first team.

A NUMBER OF YOUNGSTERS WILL HAVE THE CHANCE TO IMPRESS MIKEL ARTETA

Arsenal will have 10 players missing due to the World Cup. Hence, they will need to include the academy players for the Dubai camp to make numbers. However, the players need to prove that they are not here for numbers. They need to impress Arteta and show their brilliant future potential to succeed at the club. However, for the present, they will try to impress the lower league sides to take them on loan in the January transfer window.

The report claims that the Gunners will have the likes of Matt Smith, Lino Sousa, and Khayon Edwards as a part of the squad. These three players have also traveled with the first team for the Europa League group matches and Carabao Cup matches. The group will also include Amario Cozier-Duberry and Zach Awe. Arsenal manager Arteta has selected them based on their brilliant performances for the academy group.

Hence, it is a great opportunity for the Arsenal management to look at the players that will be brilliant for them in the future. This tournament will also keep the non-World Cup players fit for the second part of the Premier League season.
