Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has said that he wants to sign a new contract with the club. He has also said that this is the best club for his future.
The winger has also praised the coaching of manager Mikel Arteta. He has also said that he can develop under his watchful eye.
THE CONTRACT SITUATION OF THE ARSENAL WINGER
Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has said that he is ready to sign a new contract with the club. However, the Gunners are yet to make a decision on his future. The contract of Reiss Nelson is expiring in the next summer transfer window. Hence, a decision is expected to be made in the January transfer window. However, the winger has said that he will try to improve his performance further for a contract extension.
The 22-year-old winger further said,
“I feel like Arsenal is the club for me at this moment in time,” Nelson said. “I have been here for so long and I’m very comfortable here.
He further adds,
“I feel someone like Mikel is a coach that I need right now in my career, in terms of taking me to the next step. “I am an Arsenal fan and, of course, I want to sign a new contract at the club. I am just going to be ready for anything I get now and give my all for the team.”

A number of reports also claim that Arsenal are looking to sign a new right-winger in January. Hence, they are linked with the likes of Mykhaylo Mudryk and Facundo Torres. Hence, Reiss Nelson will have to assess his possible options in January. This is because if they sign a new winger, Reiss Nelson will certainly have no future with Arsenal.
