Gabriel Jesus could finally return from injury as Mikel Arteta gives an update about his return.

Arsenal are set to receive a huge update in their pursuit of the Premier League title after the latest update on Jesus injury. The Brazilian attacker hasn’t played since FIFA World Cup in 2023 as he sustained a knee injury during the tournament.

As per football.london, Jesus is likely to get back in March if his recovery continues as per schedule. Arteta has been hugely cautious about his injured players which means, Jesus won’t return to the pitch immediately. The Gunners so far, have remained close-mouthed about Jesus’s potential return date, but recently stated:-

“[Jesus] is doing really well. He’s on the pitch, he’s been doing quite a lot of work on the ball already, and so far, his rehab is going well.

“Unfortunately, no, [there is no timeline on Jesus’ return]. Ask the doctor. Maybe he’ll give you one!”

Moreover, Jesus was extremely crucial in Arsenal’s excellent start to the season, scoring five goals in 14 games. His replacement, Eddie Nketiah is a capable replacement but struggled to score a goal in last five matches.

Arteta’s side will face eight matches in April, if they qualify for the Europa League quarter-finals, including six matches in Premier League. Arsenal hosts Southampton and Leeds United and travels to Liverpool and West Ham United.

After that, they meet Manchester City on the 27th of April which might decide the title-winners for this season.

Gabriel Jesus will be extremely crucial in these kinds of matches and Arteta needs him on the pitch to end this season on a positive note.
