The Asia Cup 2023 is alive and kicking. The continental cup started on 30th August , co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri-Lanka. Cricket fans around the world is super excited for the tournament.

The legendary cricketer was sensational for India whenever he played. Scoring 971 runs in 23 (ODI) matches, Tendulkar is the highest run-getter for India in the tournament.
Most wickets for India in continental cup
Now, let’s find out the bowler with most no. of wickets for India in the history of tournament. Former pacer Irfan Pathan sits at the top of the list. However, Pathan remains the highest wicket-taker for India in the (ODI). Pathan took 22 wickets in the 12 matches that he played in the tournament.
Apart from these, India have some memorable performances from other players too. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has 745 runs in the tournament. However, the top wicket takers features likes of Ravidenra Jadeja and to everyone’s surprise Sachin too finds himself. Jadeja has taken 19 wickets in the tournament, whereas Tendulkar took 17 wickets throughout his career.
However, Indian fans will be hoping that Rohit Sharma and R.Jadeja adds some more runs and wickets to their tally. Both, will be crucial for team Indian’s chances in the upcoming Asia Cup and World Cup. All the Indian fans are excited for the upcoming two-three months of cricket.
