Aston villa are reportedly looking to sign 25 year old Matteo Guendouzi who currently plays for Serie A club Lazio. Unai Emery was the coach of Guendouzi when the 25 year old was playing his football in Arsenal. Now Unai Emery is the coach of Aston Villa and he wants his ex player back in his squad. Emery is pushing to sign Matteo Guendouzi from Lazio. Repots suggest that Lazio will demand around 30 million to let go of the 25 year old midfielder to Aston Villa.
Matteo Guendouzi was one the best young midfielders when he joined arsenal. His beginning of career at Arsenal was good, his life was good at the Emirates. When Arteta took the charge of Arsenal they 25 year midfielder lost his place in the Arsenal squad and he was loaned out to Hertha BSC in 2020 and Marseille in 2022. Matteo Guendouzi became an important player in Marseille, He made a permanent move in july 2022. Matteo has been a regular starter for Lazio this season he played massive 50 games for Lazio this season and scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists.
