However, it was not a brutal thrash like 8-2, but Bayern managed to score 3 goals against the trembling Barcelona side.

Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich: Match Review

Starting of the match Bayern Munich seemed dangerous as they were seeing more of the ball and counter-attacking. While the Barcelona side was set back with Bayern’s high field as they were seeing defending most of the time.

However, despite having several opportunities and high pressing game Bayern could get past Ter Stegen who held his feet strong at the goalpost. The German goalkeeper was also helped by his defense mainly Araujo who kept intercepting long balls. While the defender also managed to intercept short passes from Bayern.

But the Catalan defense couldn’t hold Bayern attacks any longer as they conceded a goal in 34th minute. The ball came to Muller’s feet who took a shot at the Barcelona goal and Ter Stegen was beaten with a deflection coming of Garcia.
