Bayern talent Gravenberch could be on his way to England after a disappointing season. He has not been a regular started at the Bundesliga. The move didn’t work out the way it wanted for both parties. The talented midfielder couldn’t break into the stacked Bayern Munich midfield.
Premier League likely destination for the talented Bayern midfielder Gravenberch
Arsenal look out of the Premier League as Bayern talent Gravenberch is thought to be a target. He hasn’t reached the expectation levels at Bayern. He was an excellent midfielder for Ajax. His 35 million move to Bayern did not work out for him. He is exactly the type of player Arsenal are after.
Arsenal are left waiting to hear if Thomas Tuchel wants to keep Gravenberch. If they let him go with Edu will be watching very closely.
Ryan Gravenberch has started just one Bundesliga game this season. He has come off the bench 16 times. Arsenal really like Gravenberch based on that January window attempt. Now there is summer interest, but Liverpool are a major problem.
Liverpool have problems in midfield and will push for the Midfielder but Arsenal are ready for the bidding war. However, with the prospect of Champions League Arsenal are more likely to get him.
The midfielder couldn’t get game time at Bayern due to their stacked midfield. According to Sky Germany, his situation has alerted Arsenal, who are claimed to be keeping tabs on the youngster.
Gravenberch speaks
Gravenberch told Ajax Showtime, per 90Min:
“In my career, I’ve actually never had a setback until this season. I was always a great talent and joined the Ajax first team at a young age.“
“I’d prefer to succeed at Bayern,. But if that doesn’t work out and I don’t get opportunities, then maybe I should look elsewhere.“
“I am mentally strong and making even better steps in this situation because of this situation. This is how I try to turn this experience into something positive.”
“At the moment, however, I am not so concerned with that and I hope that I can change my situation at Bayern by training and playing well.”
