Manchester United will face Arsenal at Old Trafford on weekend. It is reported Erik ten Hag has made a change to training at Manchester United. It will be interesting to see what’s ahead in Sunday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal. Moreover we can expect some Big changes for the weekend.

Miguel Delaney of the Independent believes the man from Haaksbergen has been working on a “very different” tactical plan. Writing in his Reading the Game newsletter for the Independent, the journalist claimed: “Maybe it’s a last attempt to keep his job. Maybe it’s all just proceeding as planned. Maybe it’s just something with Arsenal. Either way, Erik ten Hag is said to have spent the week working on a very different plan for Mikel Arteta’s side. The wonder is what response it has.”

Big changes mean Big match for Arsenal

Arsenal could well have won the Premier League title last season were it not for that 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford in September 2022. We also saw Gabriel Martinelli have a potentially decisive goal harshly ruled out. This season as well Manchester United stand in the way for Arsenal to win the Premier League title. Arsenal who are competing with Manchester City again this season are in a must win situation. Moreover it will be an interesting match as Manchester United can gift their city rivals their fourth consecutive title. Same scenario will be for Arsenal who can be gifted Premier League title by their city rivals Tottenham.

Manchester United still have nine points to fight for. They could qualify for the UEFA Europa League depending on other results. Moreover with Arsenal needing a win in the Premier League title race, it is all to play for at Old Trafford. We can expect a big match that will affect both the title race and European football next season.
