Brennan Johnson points out the difference between Tottenham and Nottingham Forest

Brennan Johnson points the difference between Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest. Tottenham secured a move for Brennan from Forest during the summer window. They paid a sum of €47.5m to steal the Wales international from Nottingham Forest. He recently came up against his former employees when Spurs went on to beat Forest in the Premier League. The North London club took away all three points from City Ground after securing a 2-0 victory.

The Men in White signed the Welsh following his impressive Championship and then Premier League debut season. Though, now he has to deliver a huge performance to let his side get to top four again. He only has one goal so far this season. Speaking to Tottenham’s official channels before Nottingham game, he said,

“It’s different situations. I think mentally at Forest when I was there last season it was mostly about results. When I was there last season we didn’t make the best start so we were almost playing catch up but then we got to a really good point where we were able to say that we could stay up and were definitely in the mix. It’s more week by week at Forest, trying to get three points. Obviously you want to keep performing well but here it’s all about how you are performing, the manager’s style of play and trying to replicate that on a match day. So in terms of the mindset it’s different, here it’s more about performance, whereas Forest was more three points.”

Brennan can be a star for Tottenham Hotspur

Owing to the quality Brennan possess, he can be a future star for the COYS. Although Spurs are adorned with a lot of other superstars in the squad, he can still make his own image. Moreover, he has evidently shown the quality he owns and with such a big amount splashed, Johnson will be eager to showcase his flair on the field in the upcoming fixtures.
