Bukayo Saka has claimed Mesut Ozil to be the best Arsenal player he has ever seen. Bukayo Saka believes that Mesut Ozil ‘plays in his own world.’ Furthermore the youngster his wowed by the German player. Ozil played for the Gunners for eight years. He has wowed the young players with all the things he did in the training session. Saka was given the chance to prove himself to the Arsenal team by Unai Emery. It was then that he got the chance to play with Mesut Ozil. However soon Mikel Arteta joined the Gunners as their manager. Saka’s career from then onwards took a complete opposite turn from Ozil’s. Mesut Ozil was then booted out from the club in 2021. It seems like Arteta made the right decision back then. As the club have done pretty well since then.

However Arteta’s decision could not ever hide the talent that the German holds. Mesut Ozil is one of the most skillful players in football. Bukayo Saka was asked about which player had impressed him the most. The player put forward Ozil’s name as the one who impressed him the most. Bukayo Saka said, “I think I would probably say Mesut Ozil,” He further continued, “He plays in his own world. Some of the things he does and you look at him ‘just wow’.” Mesut Ozil did not win the Premier League with the Gunners. But he definitely won the La Liga with Real Madrid and World Cup with the German national team. And given to the road Bukayo Saka is heading, there is no doubt that the youngster will soon add those trophies to his name as well. And he is pretty close to win the Premier League title with the Arsenal team.
Arsenal are currently 5 points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League table. The Gunners are aware if the next few weeks go well for them, they could very well win the title this season. It would definitely be some story for Bukayo Saka. He came through the academy at a very young age and has become one of the important players for the club.
