Champions League winners Chelsea are set to go toe-to-toe with Juventus in the 2021/22 campaign’s group stage. Runners-up Manchester City will face Messi and PSG in what can be an electrifying match-up.

Moreover, Liverpool will return to the scene of their 2019 triumph, the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, to take on Atletico Madrid. Fellow English side Manchester United face a Europa League final rematch against Villarreal.

Final hosts Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo complete Group H alongside winners Chelsea and challengers Juventus.

Star-Studded line-up for Chelsea in the Champions League this season.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are the reigning European champions after their 1-0 win over Manchester City in the final last year. They followed up their Champions League triumph by winning the Uefa Super Cup at the start of this season, beating Villarreal in Belfast.

The Blues will now travel to Italy, Russia and Sweden as they start their defence of the crown.

UEFA Champions League Men’s Coach of the Year goes to Chelsea boss Tuchel. Chelsea keeper Edouard Mendy was named UEFA Champions League Men’s Goalkeeper of the Season. He recorded 9 clean sheets in 12 matches last season. Club teammate N’Golo Kante became the UEFA Champions League Men’s Midfielder of the Season.

UEFA Men’s Player of the Year went to yet another Chelsea player, their skipper Jorginho. He follows Cristiano Ronaldo to become the second player to win the UEFA Champions League, UEFA European Championship and UEFA Men’s Player of the Year in the same year.

Juventus have re-appointed former boss Max Allegri for the current campaign. They were unsuccessful in challenging for the Serie A title under Andrea Pirlo last year. They might miss ace Cristiano Ronaldo for the European campaign, who is pushing for a move away.
