Virat Kohli, presently has taken rest from any kind of competitive cricket. But he is all set to return to the blues in the Asia Cup 2022. But time will see if Kohli can make a great comeback in tournament to be held at UAE. Well, Kohli has been a great name in the World Cricket. However, his recent form with the bat has given birth to a lot of questions. Not only that, his ongoing form has been a concern for India too. Despite that, the team management, including captain Rohit Sharma has always backed him. Recently, legendary spinner Chandu Borde spoke for Virat Kohli.

Virat’s lack of form has been a hot topic for many. A lot of former cricketers came forward with advices to held him put from it. Moreover, Borde followed the same route too. Borde had served India as a coach. Henceforth, he recalled his meet the Australian legend Don Bradman in one of his early tours in Australia. Borde saw Bradman pulling his sleeve an ace up, which Borde feels will work for Kohli too.

Borde recalls in a show on India TV,

“We went to Australia in 1968. Their captain was going through a bad phase. Sir Don Bradman advised him to hit every ball in the practice session. After that he came on the field and hit a hundred against us. I will give the same advice to Virat Kohli that Sir Don Bradman did. ‘Go son, go into the net and hit every ball’ but to be honest, no one knows what will work for you in bad times.”

From Gavaskar to Tendulkar and me, every player has to go through this: Borde

It never looks all the time that Kohli is done.A lot of times Kohli looked absolutely great with the bat. He timed the ball, hitting the most beautiful boundaries, playing shots. But all of a sudden, a ball will come that snatch Kohli’s wicket, which was a rare scene when he was in peak. In that pahse, Kohli’s biggest strength was his concentration. Moat of the time scored a 50, he would have made sure to make it a 100. This is what that is lacking in the new Virat Kohli. Chandu Borde, on this added,

“From Gavaskar to Tendulkar and me, every player has to go through this. You get out on a simple ball, you get out even after playing the best shot. I have not been able to find any conditional treatment till now to deal with this situation.”
