Chelsea are reportedly closing in three deals this January transfer window. They are significantly making positive progress in their quest for Enzo Fernandez. The Evening Standard have reported Chelsea are close to wrapping up the signings of Benoit Badiashile and Brazilian wonderkid Andrey Santos. Reports suggest that Chelsea are close to agreeing on a deal with Enzo Fernandez. But for Chelsea to do that they would have to pay a hefty amount of transfer fee for the player. They would have to pay a hefty fee over the next few years due to Financial Fair Play Regulations. The Blues have already spent a lot of money in the last transfer window.

Chelsea to complete at least three signings this January

Chelsea have been big spenders after their new owner Todd Boehly joined them. Todd Boehly had funded the club to sign big players namely, Raheem Sterling, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last summer. Chelsea are now set to sign new players this winter transfer window. They look to spend on young players like Fernandez, Badiashile, and Santos. Graham Potter hopes to be backed up by Todd Boehly this winter transfer as well. Graham Potter is looking to build a new and young team under his rein. He hopes to build a future for the club. Chelsea spent a good amount in signing young players last summer as well. They signed the likes of Wesley Fofana and Carney Chukwuemeka. They are hoping to do the same this transfer window as well. The Blues already have a signed David Datro Fofana and have deals placed for Audrey Santos and Benoit Badiashile.

They are also hoping to sign the Argentina player Enzo Fernandez. With the release clause of €120m for the young Argentina player, he would end up becoming the Premier League‘s most expensive player. Although Chelsea are not prepared to pay his full release clause. Instead, they are planning to pay the fee in installments. The Blues are ready to pay £105m to get the deal for him done as soon as possible.
