Chelsea have had a busy January transfer window this season. However, their transfer business is not yet finished. They are still looking to sign a few more players. Chelsea would be hoping to sign at least one defensive midfielder this January transfer window. Moreover, Chelsea have recently completed the deal for Noni Madueke from PSV this weekend. Many journalists believe that the Blues will not stop just at that. Things are said to get busier for the club as they enter the last week of the January transfer window. The Blues mean business in this transfer window. They already had an underwhelming season so far. They hoped to see improvement after the World Cup, but things have remained the same. The Blues are hence signing players in hopes of seeing improvement at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues faced troubles in signing Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez. The player was said to be too expensive for Chelsea to sign. Another player who had gained interest from the Blues was Moises Caicedo from Brighton. The club failed to sign the deal with the player as they could not reach a settlement. They could try and sign Moises Caicedo for a loan deal from Brighton.

But they are still looking for other alternatives. According to reports, Chelsea are looking looking for other alternatives for a defensive midfielder. Although they could still sign Moises Caicedo on a loan deal from Brighton. Buying the player could end up becoming too expensive for the club.
