Chelsea to pay £200m for England duo

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are determined to sign the midfield duo in the transfer window. They are even willing to pay £200m for the players. Rice and Bellingham have already proved that they are a formidable duo for the opponents. The duo have amazing chemistry in the midfield at the England squad. So, there’s a chance that the duo could change the scenes at the Chelsea midfield.

The Blues interest in the youngsters

The Blues had an eye on Jude Bellingham for a long time now. They had followed him since his academy days at Birmingham City but had failed to act on their interest before the German team signed him. Meanwhile, Rice had topped the Blues’ interest since last year, but a deal with the Hammers had collapsed as Chelsea thought the valuation for the player of £ 100 million a bit ‘steep’. It definitely won’t be easy to sign both Rice and Bellingham in one transfer window and to the same team as well. Todd Boehly is optimistic enough to try and pull this off. If the deal goes through it will definitely be a record signing for Chelsea.
