Chelsea plans another transfer blow on Arsenal as interest clashes

Chelsea have already signed two players who were Arsenal targets previously. They managed to sign two players under Gunners’ noses since Todd Boehly’s takeover. Things are now looking up for Graham Potter’s Chelsea. The Blues have now won their last three consecutive games in all competitions. Furthermore they won against Leicester City and Leeds in the Premier League and also knocked Borussia Dortmund from the Champions League. But there is still a long way to go for the Blues’ boss. The loyal Blues’ fans are not yet convinced with the manager after their recent performance. The Blues are currently 11 points behind Tottenham in the Premier League. They are to face Everton next in the Premier League clash. The match should be fairly easy one for them as Everton are currently battling relegation.

Chelsea to target a young Arsenal player

Chelsea are reportedly interested in Arsenal talent Ethan Nwaneri. The young player became one of the youngest player to ever feature in a match. He made his Premier League debut in the 3-0 win against Brentford last September. However he is yet to agree to a scholarship from the Gunners. Therefore he could be snapped up by any of the rival teams. It is believed that Manchester City and Chelsea are both ready to fight for Ethan Nwaneri’s services. However Arsenal are said to be ready to keep hold of the player. The Gunners are looking to keep the player as he could become one of the promising players in football. The Arsenal youngster like Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson have all been impressive this season.

If Chelsea manages to sign Nwaneri then it will be for the third time that they have managed to sign a player under their noses. And since Todd Boehly’s takeover, the Blues have signed a number of youngsters in their team. Therefore it won’t be a surprise if they end up signing Nwaneri from Arsenal.
