Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has no concern about Saul Niguez despite the midfielder failing to impress at his Blues debut. Saul Niguez joined Chelsea on loan this summer on the transfer deadline day, after a couple of failed deals. Following which the midfielder didn’t get time to adapt to his new changes.

As soon as the transfer market ended all the players reported for international duty playing in the World Cup qualifiers. However, the plan didn’t go well for Thomas Tuchel and Saul Niguez as the midfielder failed to perform on his Chelsea debut. Following which he was substituted in the 45th minute of the match with Jorginho taking his place. Moving on to the Champions League opener, Saul Niguez was an unused substitute sitting on the bench against Zenit.

Following these moments for Saul Niguez at Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel was questioned in a pre-match conference about his concern on the midfielder. Replying to that Tuchel said that the Spaniard is a world-class player who needs time to adjust in new environment. While also said that there is nothing to worry about for the midfielder.

Chelsea’s next game is against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, and we might see Saul on the bench for the match. And hoping to get some game time on Sunday, Saul would like to prove himself after his failed debut.
