Chelsea defender Bashir Humphreys is set to join Paderborn

Chelsea player Bashir Humphreys have agreed to join Paderborn this transfer window. Sources suggest have claimed that the player have agreed on a deal with Paderborn. Furthermore, the defender is set to fly out to Germany to undergo the medical tests. He would be moving to the Bundesliga second-tier side on a loan deal. Hence the medical test will finalize the move for the player. Chelsea have high hopes for Bashir Humphreys and hopes that the loan deal would be beneficial for him. They believe this move to Germany would be a good step in his career as it would help him to gain more experience. Bashir Humphreys have been around the Chelsea first team for quite some time after making his debut against Manchester City. He made his senior debut for the Blues earlier this month.

Bashir Humphreys to leave Chelsea and join the German club

Bashir Humphreys was also named on the bench for Chelsea’s recent matches against Crystal Palace and Liverpool. The young player have been with the Chelsea team for six seasons now. He had joined the Blues academy at Under-15 following a move from Reading. While the player has been frequently involved in the Chelsea first team this season, he had also played regularly in the UEFA Youth League for the U-21s. He have made 14 appearances for the youth team so far. And have scored only once in those appearances. He have also been involved in the youth team of the England team. He have played both for the U-16 and U-19 for the national team. Bashir Humphreys have now decided to join the Bundesliga tier 2 club on a loan deal. He is still young and is yet to gain more experience.

He would be hoping to gain more playing experience with this move. Bashir Humphreys has been rated as an exciting young player by the Chelsea team. He was also involved in the England U-19s team. The team went on to win the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2019. With this move, he is expected to gain more first-team experience.
