Chelsea fans unveiled the banner to Gallagher in the last match

The Chelsea picked up a big three points in their quest to finish in the European places this season. Goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson

It exclusively revealed to the Chelsea Chronicle yesterday at this stage of the season, Gallagher has to accept that as it stands he has no future in West London.

This decision seems bonkers based on how impressive he has been this season, with the extra faith placed in him by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

His efforts this season were acknowledged by the Stamford Bridge faithful, who organised a banner to be made to mark the big game against Spurs.

A video published by Twitter page adzzCFC shows the 24-year-old clearly chuffed with the gesture,

Giving a thumbs up and applauding the end that donned it.

He paid the fans back with another top performance in the middle of the park that will only have proven to Pochettino that he has stumbled across his best midfield duo right now.

Also the pairing of Gallagher with Moises Caicedo has proven to be one of the best in the Premier League right now, and will absolutely crucial in the club’s run in to the end of the season.

European football qualification is still a very real possibility this season, and that feat would likely be enough to keep Pochettino in a job for next season.

The Cobham graduate has arguably been Chelsea’s best midfielder this season,

Despite the club boasting Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo in their ranks.

Also he has made 45 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring six goals and providing eight assists.
