Enzo Maresca the Italian Manager will Leicester City to Join the Blue’s at Stamford Bridge. He replace Mauricio Pochettino as the head coach of Chelsea. Chelsea won back to back 5 games in a row under Pochettino. The Blue’s finished in the 6th position of the Premier league table. They were just short of 5 points to secure a UEFA champions league spot. Chelsea will be playing UEFA conference league next season under new manager Enzo Maresca. The Italian will be the successor of Pochettino at Chelsea. The Italian manager led Leicester city to Premier league by winning Championship. Maresca has signed a 5 year deal at Chelsea with a option to extend for one more year. Maresca was Chelsea’s 1st choice target amongst the shortlisted managers.

Enzo’s ambitions and work ethics impressed Chelsea board in discussions which led up to his appointment. Maresa after joining Chelsea said- It is a dream for any manager to join one of the biggest club in the world. I am very excited for this opportunity.
Chelsea wants a striker but not Victor Osimhen
Chelsea will not sign Victor Osimhen despite prior interests in him. the Blue’s will not bid for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. They will look elsewhere for a striker. The Blue’s new coach has stated that he wants signings in several positions which include a fullback and striker. Napoli have demanded 111 million for Victor Osimhen. Chelsea need reinforcements in several positions they will not spend their entire budget on one player. Osimhen is a star youngster and he is worth splashing 111 million on him. He scored in double figures in 2023-24 season. He has scored in double figures for sixth consecutive season now.
But anyone who wants to sign Victor Osimhen have to spend big in the market. He has a nine figure release clause in his contract. Napoli president has openly admitted that Osimhen will leave Napoli in this summer transfer window. Chelsea will look forward to go for the cheaper options.

Jordan Pickford
Jordan Pickford is one of the many goalkeepers linked with chelsea for a move this summer. Chelsea’s current goalkeepers are not good enough to meet Chelsea’s new managers expectation. Jordan is an excellent shot stopper. He is an experienced goalkeeper and have the experience of playing in premier league. He will be playing for England in the EURO 2024.
