Chelsea have joined Manchester United in the race for Napoli starman Victor Osimhen. Blues are interested in recruiting a striker in the summer transfer window.

According to reports, Co-owner Todd Boehly wants to sign a new striker for manager Graham Potter when the summer transfer window opens. Chelsea have spent over £600 million in last two transfer windows. However, the recruitment drive is unlikely to slow down anytime soon.

As per Fabrizio Romano’s report, Chelsea are interested in a move for Napoli Frontman Victor Osimhen as the Nigerian is on top of their list. And it has been quite clear on the pitch that Blues need a new No.9.

Osimhen has scored 21 goals in 23 apperances in Serie-A this season. He even netted four time in five Champions League matches. His lethal finishing in front of goal has won him applause from all around the world.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has already claimed that Osimhen will only be sold on his terms and the same goes for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. He told :-

“There’s always the indecent proposal, the numbers are made by the others,

“We’re waiting. They are extraordinary boys. My contracts are unique, they come from the cinema, so nobody moves if we say no. We will see.

CHELSEA TARGET SPEAKS ABOUT HIS DREAM TO PLAY IN PREMIER LEAGUE

Osimhen also made it clear that his dream is to play in Premier League one day. He said :-

“A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I’m in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A,

“I’m working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it’s a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well.”

However, Chelsea will offload several of their current attackers to bolster their finances for next season.
