Chelsea, Inter Milan reach an agreement over Lukaku

Inter Milan and Chelsea have reached an agreement for a loan of Romelu Lukaku to Inter this summer. The centre forward is set to join the Italian side for the 2022-23 season.

The 29 year old has 64 goals for Inter Milan across two season between 2019 and 2022. This impressive performance made Chelsea shell out the big bucks for the Belgian.

The Blues paid an excess of £97.5m to bring the striker to Stamford Bridge. However, he has had a disappointing season for the Blues. He has managed to score 15 goals and get 2 assists in 44 appearances for the blues.

Lukaku has made it clear thar he wants to join Milan ahead of next season. Although he has more than 5 years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea and Inter Milan have been in talks regarding Romelu Lukaku over the last few weeks according to the Daily Mail.

Inter Milan are set to pay £8.5m plus add-ons to bring Lukaku back on a loan. A further meeting is to take place in order to discuss final details.
