According to a report by Calciomercato, Adrien Rabiot has booked a spot on the Chelsea transfer wishlist. Rabiot has emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea as he is struggling to find the form under Allegri. Last year’s UCL winners are looking to offload Saul Niguez who is not favoured by Thomas Tuchel. Allegri wants a more offensive contribution from Rabiot who is failing to meet the manager’s demands.
Chelsea signed Saul Niguez on loan From Atletico Madrid. However, he has failed to get playing time under Tuchel. The Blues are also considering letting him return to Colchoneros. Tuchel wants a player who can replace Saul and give him an extra option in the midfield. Chelsea has circled Adrien Rabiot as a replacement for the Spanish midfielder. Chelsea currently sits on top of the Premier League table and are looking very strong in all competitions.
Rabiot has played 11 games in all competitions and has registered only one assist. Massimiliano Allegri has been critical of Adrien Rabiot on some occasions and expects him to deliver more for the Bianconeri. Saul Niguez is out of plans from Thomas Tuchel’s tactics and can leave Chelsea soon. They are looking for a player who can help their midfield along with Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho, and N’Golo Kante. Adrien Rabiot is a dynamic midfielder who can add great depth to the Chelsea squad. They will have stronger options even for a cup game and will look even a greater threat in all competitions.
