Chelsea has reportedly registered their interest in signing Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Philips. The England international is expected to have a lot of interest in him this summer.
The Leeds United midfielder has struggled with injuries during the 2021-22 season. But still, the midfielder has managed to register one goal and one assist in 23 appearances for Leeds in all tournaments. Philips made 18 starts in the Premier League under new manager Jesse March as they secured top-flight survival on the final day.

City and United are looking at Kalvin Philips as their long-term solution at the defensive midfield position. Aston Villa and Newcastle United are looking to make him their marquee signing. However, Kalvin Philips has made it clear he will stay at the club this summer. “I’ve made what I want to do clear. I’ve made my intentions clear. I want to be at Leeds and I’ll focus on that until my contract ends. It’s always been something I’ve been confident about sorting whenever it needs sorting. There’s always going to be noise when you’re an England international and you’re playing for one of the biggest teams in the country, and I think until the end of the season, I’ll be happy at Leeds and always will be.”
Chelsea has been looking at Declan Rice and Aurelien Tchouameni as the potential options. But both of the players are said to be above valuation for Chelsea and potential suitors. Reports are also suggesting that Philips might be available for as low as 25 million if he wants to end his 12-year stay at Leeds United.
