Chelsea man Conor Gallagher lauds his £40m teammate Cole Palmer

Chelsea star Conor Gallagher applauds his teammate Cole Palmer after their win over Sheffield United. Conor Gallagher is currently the acting skipper of Chelsea in the absence of James. The Blues recently defeated Sheffield United by 2-0 and get to winning ways again. Goals from Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson ensured the victory for them. Speaking to Chelsea’s official club website, Conor hails Palmer for the impact he made during the game. The 21-year old also assisted the goal for Jackson on Sunday. Consequently, he has now registered nine goal contributions in 14 Premier League outings for the Blues.

“Cole is a great player and his talent is there for all to see. He’s amazing on the ball and he’s done brilliant for us all season.

He was involved with both goals, scoring a fantastic one himself and those goals and assists are what we need from him. We’re really happy with his input and he’s a great team-mate.”

Palmer has been a revelation at Stamford Bridge since his £40m move in summer from Man City. The Englishman is without a doubt the best player in the attack for Pochettino. He is the one scoring and creating goals for most of the time this season so far. If the Blues want to regain their lost image, they must start signing more talents like Palmer. However, it is not as easy as said especially when you sign players from other divisions. Todd Boehly should start thinking of such signings as the winter window is closing to open.
