tennis player

Chelsea have had a phenomenal start under Graham Potter. They are on an unbeaten run of games and are yet to lose a match under Potter. Graham Potter joined Chelsea from Brighton after the shock exit of Thomas Tuchel. Since his arrival, they have looked very dangerous. Under Thomas Tuchel, the Blues had become stagnant and dull, However, under Potter, the Blues look like a team with vision and cohesion. They are attacking the middle spaces more and more and are playing games with high intensity and pace.

Chelsea’s future in the Champions League looked bleak under Thomas Tuchel. However, it looks like Chelsea are back again Potter has led the Blues to two consecutive Champions League victories over Serie-A champions AC Milan. They are now at the top of their group with three games remaining in the Champions League. However, Paul Merson has claimed that Graham Potter is not getting the praise he deserves. In his prediction blog with Sportskeeda, Paul Merson has predicted a win for Chelsea. He writes:

Graham Potter has quietly and steadily got some phenomenal football results recently. I’d said they had a big week coming up and all of a sudden, they’ve done the business – fair play to them. Chelsea have not got the accolades they’ve deserved, to be honest – they’ve done the double over AC Milan and they beat Wolves comfortably.

Chelsea were wasteful last week, and could’ve beaten Wolves by any score if they’d taken their chances. Aston Villa will make it hard this week, but Chelsea will have too much for them.

Chelsea takes on Aston Villa this Sunday. A win over the midland club will ensure that the Blues will keep its place in the top four. Moreover, the Blues still have a game in hand. If they remain unbeaten, for an extended period, there is a real chance that Chelsea can challenge for the Premier League trophy as well.
