Chelsea manager’s top target for the forward position

Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to sign a player that might shock most Chelsea fans. According to a report by Calciomercato, Graham Potter wants to make a bid to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the next transfer window. The report states that Graham Potter “really likes” Kane. The Chelsea manager wants to make an offer that manager Antonio Conte can’t refuse. Graham Potter wants to sign Kane by offering Conte a chance to reunite with Romelu Lukaku.

Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Conte were an unstoppable duo during their time together at Inter. Lukaku had his best run of games under Antonio Conte. The brilliant performance by Lukaku under Conte prompted Chelsea to spend £97.5 on the Belgian. However, the report states that Chelsea and Inter Milan might already have an arrangement regarding Lukaku. This might throw a wet blanket on Graham Potter’s dream of a swap and cash deal for Kane. It must be noted, however, that the option to stay further at Milan will depend on Lukaku’s performance for Inter. So far, Lukaku has scored just one goal for Inter and has made only three appearances due to an injury. He will return to San Siro after the international break.

Chelsea might also sign Moses Caicedo

There might be a lot of departures in the Blue’s midfield in the next season. To prepare for this, Graham Potter might want to bring in some quality midfielders into the squad. One such player of quality that the Chelsea manager will want is his former player Moses Caicedo. Caicedo has expressed his interest in joining Chelsea. In an interview with the Evening Standard, said:

“Nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea or any other club like that. It’d be a dream to be in the best teams in the world and succeed there.”

There is a high chance that we might see Caicedo play at Stamford Bridge in the next season.
