According to The Mirror, Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti have identified Reece James as the club’s priority signing in the summer. The English right-back has been on top form this term. James has recorded an impressive six goals and seven assists across all competitions this term. James was on top form up against Vinícius Júnior in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last week. But the right-back has a contract until 2025 with the blues. It seems next to impossible that Thomas Tuchel will be willing to lose such an important member of his squad next summer.

According to reports, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has no desire to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season. The midfielder recently made his return back from yet another injury. But despite the constant injury layoffs, Thomas Tuchel still rates the midfielder very highly. The German manager praised the midfielder but was also very critical of him the same time in his recent interview. He said:
“He has everything it takes to play otherwise I would not count on him. But he has heard it for so many years. He has heard it too much.’ ‘He is still in the situation where he accepts limits too early.”
