Chelsea strengthened their position with a 3-0 win against relegation fighting Leeds. The first goal in the match came quite early with Mason Mount giving the lead at just three minutes.
Daniel James got a red card within 24 minutes of the game for a dangerous tackle on Mateo Kovacic. The tackle led to Kovacic limping off after just six minutes of the tackle. Chelsea kept on pressing for the second goal which nearly came when Romelu Lukaku scored. However, the goal was ruled out for an offside.
In the second half, Chelsea pressed harder and got their reward. Christian Pulisic doubled the lead for the Blues. The rout was completed after Lukaku scored. This was Lukaku’s third goal in two matches.

He played splendidly throughout the match. He did not look as though he had missed a lot of matches. Moreover, he was sublime in the back and dealt with each of the threats that came his way.

He did not have to do too much in the match. Still, he looked confident at the back and kept the clean sheet.
Antonio Rudiger 6/10
Though not being at his best in recent weeks, he was not seeing making silly mistakes. Defended well in the back.
Marcos Alonso 6/10
A good enough performance from him. However, he too did not have to do too much in the match.
Reece James 7/10
Played really well at the back. Was involved in the play that led to the first goal and got into good areas as well.
Jorginho 7/10
Controlled the midfield very well. Helped in keeping the possession for his side.
Mateo Kovacic 6/10
Could not show himself in the match. As he got injured and was forced off the field.
Mason Mount 8/10
Scored the first goal with an impressive finish. Moreover, also assisted Pulisic for his second.
Christian Pulisic 7/10
The player really played well forward. Scored the second goal and was close to scoring the third, however, the shot missed by whiskers.
Romelu Lukaku 8/10
A good overall display from the Belgian. He was looking his old self in the match.
