Chelsea player Baba Rahman returns for his second spell as a loan player at Reading FC. Baba spent last season on a loan at Reading and became a fan favourite very quickly. The Chelsea player made 29 appearances for Reading last season. Moreover, he was an integral player in Reading’s fight for Championship survival last season.

Rahman made his debut for Chelsea in 2015 in a Champions League Game. Baba made his Premier League debut with Chelsea in October 17 of 2015. Rahman has not played a match in a Chelsea shirt since May 2016. This is mainly because of his persistent injuries across the years. In fact, last season was the first season that Rahman has managed to play fully since his first season with Chelsea in 2016. Moreover, Baba still has two years left on his Chelsea contract. Any opportunity for game time is welcomed by both the player and the club. The player has 44 caps for Ghana in the international level. Rahman will be hoping that his performance at Reading will warrant him a berth in the Ghana national team heading to Qatar in 2022.
