However, with just a week remaining before the transfer window closes Chelsea have to be fast to secure their signings. This article lists out all the players Chelsea wants to sign in the transfer window

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are in advanced stage of discussions to sign Barcelona forward Aubameyang. Barcelona and Chelsea are “optimistic” regarding the deal for the player. However, the only hindrance to the deal is the transfer fee. The transfer fee is said to be a number between the region of £15m and £20m. Moreover, Gerrard Romero has reported that Barcelona are asking the Blues to accept paying a €25M fixed + €3M for Aubameyang. If the Blues do pay this amount, Barcelona will let Aubameyang leave immediately.

Wesley Fofana to Chelsea

The Blues have had two bids for Wesley Fofana rejected by Leicester City. The bids were worth £50m and £60m respectively. Now, Todd Bohley has sanctioned a £70m deal for Fofana which was rejected swiftly by Leicester City. However, Fofana himself is pushing for a move away from Kings Power this season after hearing about Chelsea’s interest. Consequently, Fofana was dropped from Leicester’s clash against Southampton.

Anthony Gordon to Chelsea

Chelsea are willing to pay an excess of £60m for the Everton youngster this season. However, Everton are adamant about not selling the player this season. Everton have rejected two bids worth £40m-£45m for the player. Moreover, Gordon has made it clear that he wants to join Chelsea this season. As a result, he was not included in the squad that faced Fleetwood town in the first round of the Carabao Cup. Moreover, a contract extension is also available for Gordon should he decide to remain at Goodison Park.
