Rafael Leao could still move to Chelsea in the January transfer window. Chelsea owner Todd Boehly will return in January to renegotiate a deal for the winger. Meanwhile, Leao is in terrific form in Serie A. He has had 6 goal involvement in six games for Milan this season. However, he did have a red card in his match against Sampdoria.

Meanwhile, Gianluca DiMarzio has confirmed that Chelsea decided to offer €70m/€80m in the summer transfer window. However, AC Milan rejected the contract mainly because of Leao’s €120 million buy-out clause. However, DiMarzio also added that Chelsea are keeping an eye out for Leao’s contract negotiations. If Leao doesn’t renew his contract, a host of other European clubs will dash to sign the player.

Arsen Zakharyan to Chelsea update!

Arsen Zakharyan, the young Russian midfielder is still on the radar of Chelsea. Fabrizio Romano has tweeted about the Zakharyan situation:

“Chelsea remain interested in Arsen Zakharyan as a potential target for present and future. There’s a plan to follow the Russian talent in the next months. ‘There was no full agreement on fee with Dinamo Moscow in August, but personal terms were 100% agreed.”

Arsen’s move to Chelsea collapsed because the club were not able to transfer the cash to the Russian club due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. However, Zakharyan is still holding out for a move in the January window.

“There was an offer (from Chelsea), but it just didn’t work out. You probably know the reasons. How could I refuse? Of course, I agreed. I hope everything will be fine. The next window? Maybe. Of course, the level there is much higher than in the Russian Premier League, but everything is possible. Maybe it would work there. I could always go on loan.”
