Chelsea ready to cash-in on world class Napoli striker

Victor Osimhen has been linked to Chelsea move for quite some time now. Chelsea’s Chairman Todd Boehly is willing to make a £110m bid for the Nigerian star. However, Osimhen has gained attention from numerous other clubs. PSG are also interested in acquiring the forward’s services. A battle between Les Perisiens and the Blues for Osimhen’s signature is ongoing.

Chelsea are in need of a proven class striker especially since Nkunku is injury prone and often sidelined. Nicolas Jackson has often failed to hit the mark. The Blues have missed many big chances and have struggled to score from open play.

PSG will be eyeing Osimhen as the Les Perisiens have identified the Nigerian as Mbappe’s replacement. The French international has made it clear that he will not extend his contract with PSG and will be available on the market for a bargain.

Victor Osimhen prefers Chelsea!

Osimhen’s love for Chelsea and idolization of Drogba makes it no surprise that he would prefer playing for the West Londoners.

Osimhen’s historical admiration for the Blues is no secret either. He has been linked with United, but it is unlikely that the Red Devils will move for him. Spurs and Arsenal have also been found interested in the striker. But, it is believed that the star forward will choose the Blues over the two.

Chelsea to propose a swap: Osimhen in Lukaku Out

Chelsea are ready to part ways with Romelu Lukaku after his stint at the Stamford Bridge proved to be an unimpressive one. The Blues are considering to swap the Belgian plus cash for Osimhen to balance the deal for Napoli.

Lukaku will be no stranger to Serie A having represented Inter and Roma in the competition before. Lukaku’s good run of form in the Italian domestic league may further push Napoli’s hand towards making the deal.

Osimhen Transfer Saga: More Drama to follow!

While Chelsea are considered as strong favorites for Osimhen move, PSG won’t back down easily. Moreover, Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has a reputation for being a tough negotiator and he will try to get the best out of the deal.

Both Chelsea and PSG are willing to pay £110m release clause for Osimhen and are equally confident of the prospect of landing the Nigerian. While it cannot be said for certain where Osimhen will go, more drama is sure to be witnessed over the Nigerian star.
