Pochettino

Chelsea have successfully secured the services of Santos teenager Angelo Gabriel after their bid was accepted. The Premier League club has made arrangements for the future of the young winger. As they have reached an agreement with Santos to acquire him for €15 million. Angelo is in expectation to sign a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge. Which will keep him at Chelsea until June 2028. In preparation for his move to England. Angelo has already begun his medical examinations at Chelsea, as reported by Vene Casagrande.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea have emerged as the victors in the pursuit of the 18-year-old Angelo Gabriel, and they are now strategizing his development. It has been in reports that Chelsea intends to loan Angelo to RC Strasbourg. A Ligue 1 side in which they recently acquired a majority stake and which serves as their feeder club.

Reports suggest that RC Strasbourg is also considering a loan move for striker David Datro Fofana.

In addition to Angelo Gabriel, Blues will also welcome another young Brazilian player, Andrey Santos, to their ranks. Andrey recently completed his transfer from Vasco da Gama. He has successfully obtained a work permit and is now eligible to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side for pre-season preparations.

Chelsea and their ambitions

According to The Athletic, Barcelona had the option to match any offer for Angelo Gabriel due to their preferential rights. But it is unlikely that they will make a bid for the Brazilian winger.

Angelo’s Santos contract includes a release clause of €60 million. But Chelsea managed to secure his services for a significantly lower price. Approximately a quarter of the release clause amount.

Chelsea is also nearing the addition of another player to their squad for the upcoming season. They have reached an agreement to sign Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson. Furthermore, there is still interest from Chelsea in acquiring Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.

Agreements have been reached for the sales of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, and it is anticipated that their departures will be officially confirmed in the coming days.
