Chelsea team news

Club record signing and star striker Romelu Lukaku has returned to training but is still a way off full fitness. Mason Mount and Marcos Alonso were available for the Leicester City clash after their injury issues. But Chilwell is in the form of his life and should start the game.

But Kai Havertz should still start up front, but Timo Werner should be available off the bench if needed. While in the absence of Mason Mount, Romelu Lukaku, and Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi has done brilliantly and should be in conenuion for another start in the Juventus tie.

Jorginho is available to face Juventus after the injury scare against Leicester City. While Mateo Kovacic is still on the sideline and ruled out of the Champions League clash. Jorginho and N’Golo Kante will maintain their place in the middle of the park for the European champions.

The American winger Christian Pulisic made his return back from injury and came off the bench to score the third goal in the win over the foxes. The winger will be hoping for his first start after his return from injury.

Edouard Mendy will maintain his place in the Chelsea goal. UEFA Goalkeeper of the Year kept nine clean sheets in 12 Champions League matches last term. This season he has added another three clean sheets to that tally and should keep his place in goal.
